We are SpeedDirect, the creator & manufacturer of SteeroidsTM bolt-on rack and pinion steering conversion kits. We believe it should be fun to drive your muscle car or classic, others agree. Our design has received wide acclaim in such prestigious publications as Hot Rod Magazine, Chevy High Performance, Corvette Enthusiast, Ford Builder and others.
We’re passionate about the products and the vehicles for which we offer kits. It is our firm belief that a classic car should handle as good as it looks. Our development process includes hard driving on a closed race course, testing the designs to their limits, as well as long term durability with on road testing. All of this is to insure that the product we deliver to you is safe, durable and an absolute joy to drive. As vehicle enthusiasts we know you are looking for a great handling car the feels right. Our development team is comprised of skilled, experienced vehicle engineers who use the latest CAD design software and technologies to insure a rugged, durable product that will give you the service, safety and performance. Each kit is engineered, designed and tested to meet industry standards, where applicable, as well as our own rigorous in-house standards.
For eighteen years SpeedDirect has served the performance automotive aftermarket with innovative, affordable designs, but it doesn’t stop there. Our technical support is here to assist you with any part of the installation.
